Not content with the reveal of its much-hyped phone (1) later this month, it appears that mysterious hardware company Nothing will also soon introduce an updated version of its Nothing Ear headphones (1).
Nothing’s noise-canceling headphones were originally released in 2021 and have already had a much-improved overhauled version with the release of the Black Edition earlier this year, which we awarded four stars.
Now it looks like a more updated version is on the way, after noted leaker Mukul Sharma shared a photo of what appears to be a slightly refurbished set of TWS headphones called the Nothing Ear(1) Stick.

Retaining the transparent design of the originals, the only real noticeable difference in the appearance of the supposed new headphones from their predecessors is that they sport two dots at the bottom, while the “Nothing Ear (1)” branding has been replaced with “Ear (1)”. ) Handle.”
The clear difference comes with what appears to be a new pack-sized case of chewing gum that houses the buttons. Unlike the square-shaped jewelry box style of the originals, this new clear box has a pocket-sized rectangular shape and appears to be the inspiration for the new line’s name.
The images left some commentators speculating whether the Stick earbuds could dispense with the Ear’s silicone tips (1), leading many to suggest they could be offered as a lower-tier model in a similar way to Apple’s tipless Airpods, which are in turn pitched below their pricier silicon sports, noise-canceling AirPod Pros.
Analysis: They won’t cost you anything, but could these new buttons be a budget option?
With much of the talk surrounding OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei’s new venture currently centered around the eye-watering amounts people offered on the company’s first cell phone yet to be revealed, it’s a little comforting to see that Nothing could be about to launch a product. that won’t cost the earth.
While there’s no official confirmation yet, speculation surrounding the leaked photos suggesting the company may be introducing a cheaper, noise-free version of its headphones would certainly make sense and bring Nothing in line with the current headphone offering. headphones from Apple.
A cheaper version of the Ear (1) that retained the excellent sound quality of the Black Edition buds released earlier this year would be a welcome new release, while the sleek, more ergonomic case is a design that we’re surprised no one else has. considered.
Whatever the “Truth” is, all the looks will likely be revealed at Nothing’s first opening event on July 12. Stay tuned to for full coverage of the event.
